THIS IS ME.
(Proctor & Stevenson’s new Copywriter)
Well hello there, I’m Oli, the new copy kid on the block right here at Proctor & Stevenson. Yep, I’m the word guy; I’m grandma grammar, and I’m pleased to bring with me, my direct marketing experience from various sectors including financial services, travel and tourism, and FMCG.
I’m always ready to wipe out any errant apostrophes; unleash my knowledge and arsenal of word skills across the client list; and pretty much be poised to inject some flair, where there may not have been much flair before.
What ticks my boxes? Pancakes, prawns, and the Oxford comma.
What ticks me off? People who don’t like pancakes, prawns, and the Oxford comma. And people who say you can’t start a sentence with ‘And’.
Above all else, I guess I’ll be making sure every single word we get out there in the big wide world is working its socks off; does its bit; and makes that all important connection with the audience - because that’s what’s most important, no matter what.

What a great idea…
“eBay just launched a new set of reusable boxes as part of a pilot program to make shipping a little greener. Starting in October, the company is giving away 100,000 shipping boxes to eBay sellers, and encouraging reuse. According to eBay, if each box gets used five times, the program could protect nearly 4,000 trees, save 2.4 million gallons of water, and conserve enough electricity to power 49 homes for a year.”
